Savannah Patino has been very consistent throughout the 2023 season, batting .319 and having eight stolen bases this season.
After helping her team win the Del Rey league title she was asked "How do you feel about winning league?” Patino said "The team winning league feels amazing, we never doubted ourselves from the start. We put the work in and knew what the goal was at the end of the day and that was a league title."
Then she was asked "What are your thoughts as playoffs are approaching?" “As playoffs are approaching, we know we have a target on our back but we’ve been preparing mentally and physically. We’ve been pushing each other to our limits. At the end of the day we play for the girl next to us. I think this team is really something special with a lot of young talent and we’re leaving it all out on the field starting May 4th.”
